Sitemap Submission and RSS Feed Inclusion
It is necessary for a SEO friendly website development that the website should contain the sitemap which assist the web crawlers to read your website structure. Sitemap help web crawlers to know your website hierarchy.

Sitemap:
Sitemaps provide a simple graphical representation to inform search engines about pages on their sites that are available for crawling. Basically, sitemap is an XML file that lists the URLs for a site.

Web crawlers generally search pages from links within the website and links from the other sites. It also includes the information about each URL: when it was updated, importance of this URL in comparison to other URLs in the site.

Sitemap Creation and Submission:
Now you can understand the importance of sitemap for SEO friendly website development and SEO process. It is necessary to submit your website’s valid sitemap to all the top search engines like Google, Yahoo, MSN, Ask.com etc for the proper site indexing.
Sitemap creation is very easy with the help of free services like www.xml-sitemaps.com/ , www.automapit.com/ - and various other free sitemap generator services. For this you just need to submit your URL and they crawl your entire website to generate a sitemap.xml file, which we need to upload on the root directory of your website.


Sitemap Submission to top search engines
• Google Sitemap Submission
• Yahoo Sitemap Submission
• Bing Sitemap Submission
• Ask.com Sitemap Submission

Google Sitemap Submission:For submitting the sitemap to Google you just need to follow following steps:
• Create a Google Webmaster free account.
• Add your website directly to the front page.
• Click on its link and look for sitemap in left bar.
• Click on add sitemap and follow the instructions.
• Type in the remainder of URL to let Google know where your site’s XML sitemap situated
• Save and now you have completed the process of Google Sitemap Submission.
Now from today you need to resubmit your sitemap, whenever you create a single new page & post.

Yahoo Sitemap Submission:
For submitting the sitemap to Yahoo you just need to follow following steps:
• Create a free account Yahoo Site Explorer .
• Add your website.
• Click on the “Manage” button to the left of added website.
• Now type in the remainder of URL to let Yahoo know where your site’s XML sitemap situated.
• Click on “Add feed”, yahoo will add your sitemap to its queue.
Now, follow this process again whenever you add a single new page on your website.

Bing Sitemap Submission:
The steps we need to follow for the sitemap submission on MSN (Bing.com):
• Create an account on Bing Webmaster Center.
• Add your website.
• Now point to XML sitemap.
• Use the following URL
http://www.bing.com/webmaster/ping.aspx?sitemap=www.sitename.com/sitemap.xmlNote: Write your URL instead of sitename.com.

Ask.com Sitemap Submission:

The process of submitting sitemap to ask.com is different from other. To submit your sitemap to Ask.com, simply follow the given link, only fill your website name instead of site name.

RSS Feed Inclusion:RSS is short form for “Really Simple Syndication”. RSS is a syndication plan for web content. Simply… RSS is a format for receiving regularly changing web content. For SEO Friendly Website development it is necessary to update your sites content regularly.

RSS feeds are regularly updating content that you can add to your WebPages for free! RSS feeds make available fresh articles, breaking news and popular headlines on any topic directly to your webpage without making your effort.
